Margit Spencer comes to us with a background in staff management in the U.S Army and Veterinary Pharmaceutical and Laboratory sales. She is responsible for the overall hospital operations including patient care, human resources, safety, coordinating staff training and hospital finances. She ensures the development of policy, mediates staff-client relations and is the hospital "problem-solver." Margit enjoys travel, sports and spending time with her two wonderful children and the family dog.
Dana Kinsey has been with Mueller since 1988 and started as our Registered Veterinary Technician being one of five staff members. She brings a wealth of information and technical expertise that allows for the proper care of all hospitalized pets and the services they require. She has developed and trained an excellent technical staff and prides herself in her team’s ability to care and save the lives of many beloved furry family members. She is also the Dental guru for the hospital and technical trainer for technicians. Dana enjoys disc golf and spending time with her family and pets.
Jace Huggins comes from a background at UC Davis as an Intensive Care Unit Technician and also as Animal Care Manager at an area SPCA. He is responsible for the overall Operations of all Out-Patient services to our clients and their furry family members. Jace and his team of Technicians and Receptionist pride themselves on prompt service with a smile full of education that makes the human animal bond stronger. In his spare time Jace is an avid photographer and can often be found wandering Midtown looking for pictures to take and good coffee to drink.
Traci Zalasky has been a part of the Mueller family since 1995. She started as a Receptionist and quickly took the role of lead nightly closer. She has generated a vast amount of veterinary specific knowledge and uses this every day as she has become Mueller’s go to person for all employee and client financing issues. Her southern charm, warm nature and attention to detail have served our clients and their pets well over the years. Traci and her husband have two wonderful boys, two dogs and two cats. They all enjoy watching and participating in sports but especially baseball.
We hesitate to even label them as just Receptionists. The guys and gals you hear on the phone and see behind the front desk are the foundation of our practice. These caring and compassionate staff members are educators, friends, counselors, comrades and that’s in between answering calls and making appointments. They stay on top of current veterinary field changes and would be more than willing to help you with just about anything you may need. Whether you call or come in there will be a smiling face waiting to assist you.
The Out-Patient Technicians are the staff members that help you during appointments and ensure the daily appointments are seen in a timely manner. Their main goals are to make sure your needs are met as a pet owner when it comes to education and information regarding the appointment and to ensure that your pet receives all the care, treatments and diagnostics agreed upon by you and the veterinarian. They are the go-to people for everything ranging from prescription refills to puppy plans.
We understand that few things are more stressful than leaving your furry family member in the hospital for medical care. That is why we select only the most highly qualified candidates to be in-patient technicians. In your absence, these technicians take care of your whole pet, not just his/hers medical needs. From extra TLC to dinner-time company for those finicky eaters, our technicians treat every patient like their own. Their medical training, dedication to the human-animal bond and desire to treat every patient in a loving and caring manner truly sets our technicians apart. Our licensed Registered Vet Techs (RVTs) have received advanced training in nursing, dentistry and anesthesia; they work as a team with the veterinary assistants to facilitate the veterinarian's plan for your pet's health. Our emergency technicians are experienced in triage and emergency situations and are prepared to help you 24 hours a day.

The Pet Inn Team including Pet Care Handlers and Professional Groomers work to continuously understand and meet your needs and expectations as well as understand your pet's simple pleasures. Please visit www.thepetinn.net for more detailed information.
