You may order your Rx Refills three different ways.

1. Call us directly at (916) 428-9202

2. Log onto your Pet Portal/Vetstreet account

3. Fill out the easy form to the bottom right and email directly to our pharmacy staff

We want to make pet care convenient and stress free for Sacramento pet owners. That’s why, in addition to our veterinary and emergency care, Mueller Pet Medical Center features a complete, full-service pet pharmacy on premises and a Certified Pharmacy Technician on staff.

We offer the safest and most effective medications for everything from preventatives to pain management. And, if we do not have the medications you need in stock, we will be glad to order it for you, with most medicines only taking 24 or 48 hours to arrive.

We also understand that pets can be less than cooperative when it comes to taking medicine on a regular basis. That’s why we have multiple on-site options including yummy Pill Pockets to hide pills in, gel capsules to mask bitter tasting pills and an entire compounding pharmacy area that can turn capsules or tablets into yummy liquids with flavors like chicken pot pie or salmon steak. If at any time you are having difficulty medicating your pet, please call us, it would be our pleasure to help you find an easy convenient method for administering medications.

We keep a close watch on your pets and their medications. Some medications do require periodic blood tests. But rest assured we will keep you informed if those are needed.

Online Pharmacy Policy

The most important thing to us is the safety of your pet. While we understand the need to save money, we also want to ensure that your pet is getting medications from a reputable source. Because pharmaceutical manufactures DO NOT sell directly to any online pharmacies based on the California Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) recommendations we also do not recommend purchasing products online.
